  2. I think the current payscale at MCC needs to be re-evaluated. In order to attract & retain high quality individuals, we must be prepared to pay them at a level that is commensurate to their level of education &/or previous experience, while allowing for an adequate incentive to "move up a track" on the payscale if the candidate has/obtains an advanced degree.

    In return, ALL faculty & staff should be held to meeting certain criteria as it pertains to their job function that, when used in conjunction with their annual review, would help to quantify/rate the pay raise they are then eligible to receive in the next fiscal year.(not to exceed the negotiated annual% increase)

  3. I think we need better guidelines with respect to degree requirements for our different positions at the college. Transfer faculty are required to have a masters degree but if you aren't faculty, the requirements on the job description are all over the place. There should at least be some consistency within the division or department.
